What is Rotary's Global Quest?

Rotary's Global Quest is a major campaign to increase Rotary Membership Worldwide.

Why do we need Rotary's Global Quest?

Rotary is a global organization with the potential to make a major impact upon the world in solving the problems of humanity - In order to expand our great humanitarian and educational works and strengthen our efforts to advance peace, understanding and goodwill, Rotary must not only stem its recent membership losses but achieve significant growth as well.

What is the goal for Rotary's Global Quest?


Our goal for 2001-02 is to bring in one qualified new member per month per club, with a minimum net gain of five new members per club at the end of the year. Every district is to form a minimum of three new clubs.

Who is responsible for Rotary's Global Quest?

Every Rotarian has the responsibility and the opportunity to share the gift of Rotary membership with qualified men and women from the business and professional community.

When does Rotary's Global Quest begin?

Although now is the time for all good Rotarians to step forward and declare the importance of Rotary, the official starting date of the quest is 1st July 2001.

How long will Rotary's Global Quest continue?

The quest is designed to instill in every Rotarian the original vision and fundamental desire to expand our organization so it becomes the most powerful movement for good that has ever existed. To achieve such a noble goal, we must continue our quest indefinitely, renewing and strengthening our membership every year.

Is there an awards program for Rotary's Global Quest?

All world Global Quest winners will receive a beautiful globe of the world made of semiprecious stones. The size of the globe awarded will vary for world, district, and club winners. Every Rotarian that brings in three new members will receive a recognition pin.

The awards will recognize and honor the leaders who demonstrate the vision to make this quest a reality. These are the exceptional leaders who will build the future of Rotary in 2001-02.
